An Evening of Music…

Invitation for an Evening of Music and opportunity to help the Guenther Missionaries back to New Zealand…

As their Missionary furlough comes to an end...this "EVENING OF MUSIC" has come about to raise money to help the Tim Guenther family with expenses for their travel back to New Zealand and help them get re-established as they find their next home. There is no question that God has gifted Gary Duty with a unique ability to write music with an artistic blend that has become a staple in the lives of many musicians and Christians today. This has introduced fresh, new scriptural music into their lives and churches.  It is my belief that the bluegrass "type of style" became more received/accepted through the ministry of Sound Doctrine and paved the way for others including my brothers and I to sing and play in the Bible believing and Fundamental churches.  Many have 'picked up' the Gary Duty style of playing, singing his songs and in turn has been a tremendous blessing to the body of Christ. Whether it's "DO YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS?",  "MEPHIBOSHETH", "BLESSED OLD BOOK" or others...  at least one or more of these songs have most likely influenced you and/or your ministry. 

The Guenther Brothers are thankful for the friendships we have made over the years and the privilege we have had to sing in tent meetings, churches, Hootenany’s, back yards, revivals, etc…and we are looking forward to singing together again. We are honored to host Gary Duty and Sound Doctrine as they join us in an effort to be a blessing to the Tim Guenther family as they plan to head back to the mission field of New Zealand.
